About the High School

Welcome to Shrine Catholic High School. We are a college-preparatory, co-ed high school located in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Our Mission:
At Shrine Catholic High School, we exemplify Christ, by serving, succeeding, and leading through academics, athletics and the arts.

Shrine Catholic High School resides on a 17-acre campus, across from the renowned William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Our Student Body
Approximately 250 students are enrolled in Shrine Catholic High School. A placement exam and transcript/report card review are required for admission as well as a student profile form from previous school. Our student body represents students from diverse backgrounds and dozens of public and private grade/middle schools throughout the metro Detroit area. Our students have enrolled from 35 grade schools and reside in 52 different zip codes. Shrine is also home to a dynamic International student base with students from China, South Korea, Vietnam and Guatemala.

The student-to-administrator/professional staff/faculty ratio is 7:1 and the student-to-faculty ratio is 10:1.
