Shrine Counseling Office to offer RAD Training for Senior Girls

In an effort to prepare our student in every way for life after Shrine, we are pleased to offer to our senior girls this fantastic opportunity.  Inv. Eleshia K. Evans of the Wayne State University Police Department will be holding RAD self-defense training here at Shrine March 6th, 8th and 10th.  This three day program will teach our young ladies how to protect themselves as they go out into the world.  Mrs. Hotts has sent out an e-mail with more details or you can contact her by e-mail at hotts @shrineschools.com or 248-549-2925, ext 2553.

The Mothers club Gardening committee is looking for someone who would be willing to grind the stumps of the trees and bushes that were cut down this past fall. It would not need to be done until the weather is nice again, but would like to have someone willing to do this for us.
There is a wheel barrel that needs to be fixed. The body of it is good, but the wheels are falling apart and falling off. Do you know a handy man/woman who could take this on as a project and fix it?

If you can help out on either of these projects, please contact Pauline at 248-589-8067 or joeandpaulinerz@yahoo.com. As always, if a student at Shrine helps with these projects, they earn Christian Service hours.
