Shrine Catholic Hires New Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse Coach
(ROYAL OAK) — Shrine Catholic High School is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Jay from Assistant Coach to Head Coach of the lacrosse team. He has a vast amount of coaching experience. He was the Head Coach at Walled Lake Northern for three years and Assistant Coach at Bloomfield and Farmington United Schools.
“We are very excited about the hire,” said Athletic Director, John Goddard. “He brings solid experience and a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to our program.”
The lacrosse season starts March 13th. Shrine is the host school of a cooperative Varsity level team in association with Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes and Clarkston Everest Collegiate. The team competes in the Catholic High School League, as part of the Michigan High School Athletic Association.
