20 + C + M + B + 21 Fr. John McKenzie and Fr. Joe Lang stopped by the schools last week to mark classroom doors with chalk. Catholics marking their homes with chalk for the Epiphany is a tradition that dates back centuries, signifying their homes are homes where Christ lives.
Our Shrine families helped deliver a (virtual) token of appreciation to our amazing teachers and staff! They deserve every second of Christmas break for the dedication that they have shown to our students! Thank you teachers and staff and Merry Christmas! #shrineteachersrock #shrinepride
We write to you again with sadness that we will not be able to return to our beloved school buildings during this 2019-20 school year. Per the Governor’s announcement and our Superintendent’s letter Shrine Catholic Schools will finish their academic school year from home utilizing the Distance Learning that we have begun.
It was an honor to help bring smiles to the faces of our Class of 2020! We are so very proud of them… A special thank you to the Shrine community who never misses an opportunity to show up for one another. It was awesome to see Northwood Boulevard lined with our neighbors and friends making sure our seniors received kudos, honks and congratulatory claps on their last day car parade.
We are proud to feature this video series of students from our High School entitled “A Knight’s Perspective”. Please feel free to share and invite your friends to learn more about our community.
Shrine is happy to announce the recent hire of Michael Maryanski as our New Varsity Boys Basketball Coach. Michael has 20 years of Coaching Experience from various schools. Michael grew up playing in the CYO and in the Catholic League, before he moved onto college athletics.
