Shrine wins big in winter sports

Shrine Catholic High School is shining a spotlight on the winter sports season.

Boys Basketball

The boys basketball team was named Michigan High School Athletics Association district champs and regional semifinalists.

Catholic High School League honors went to:

Michael Bowker — All Catholic

Jack Tisko — All League

Owen Wisniewski — All League

Jaycee Foster — All League

Quinn Armstrong — All Academic

Gabriel Placente — Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan  First Team

Girls Basketball

The girls team won a district championship and was an Academic All State Team, with a team GPA of 3.78. The JV team was named CHSL AA JV Division Champions.

Catholic High School League honors went to:

Maya Proctor — All League 

Molly Salerno — All League
