The deadline to sign up for Anchor, the Michigan Catholic Middle School Conference, is 5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18. Students can sign up here.
Students should sign up on the link above and not on the event website as Shrine is registering as a group.
Through speakers, music, prayer, sacraments and more, Anchor is middle school students' "opportunity to anchor your heart in His love and purpose."
The event is open to both public and Shrine students in grades 6-8. Parents are welcome to join as chaperones. Adults must have a background check within the last year and have completed Protecting God’s Children. The $70 signup cost includes the conference, travel to and from Grand Rapids, a small breakfast on the way, lunch, and a T-shirt.
Anchor will feature national speakers, such as Catholic influencer Emily Wilson and Brian Greenfield, music by Encounter Worship, and bishops from across Michigan. There will be plenty of fun, alongside opportunities for Mass, Confession, praise and worship, and prayer.
