Shrine Catholic Grade School graduates will:
Pray
Foster a personal relationship with Jesus and pray daily in a variety of ways
Participate in and become knowledgeable about Catholic traditions and practices
Live out our school mission through participation in service learning projects
Learn
Read, write, speak and listen effectively and creatively
Think critically about the world around them including the areas of science and social studies
Excelin mathematical calculations and concepts, and be able to take these skills to problem solve both independently and cooperatively
Be experienced and knowledgeable in all areas of STEM

Be confident in the gifts and talents with which God has blessed them, relating to the arts, athletics, technology, and other extracurricular activities
Reflect on the world around them, ask relevant questions, and engage in the search for solutions

Make choices which consistently respect the God-given dignity and value of one’s self and all others
Achieve an awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit in order to grow in wisdom and faith

Know many forms of prayer, praise, and worship in order to develop a strong relationship with God

Communicate effectively verbally and through written expression with all members of the community
Be confident in their public speaking abilities
Identify and utilize the study habits needed to achieve one’s personal best in high school

Serve in leadership roles when in groups, committees, and teams
Recognize the importance of friendships as a support system through middle school years

Shrine Catholic High School graduates will:

Establish a self-identity and their place in God’s plan
Love, trust and communicate with God and family, through self-awareness
Build relationships and foster, deepen, and bravely face social issues and stereotypes
Exemplify a personal sense of spirituality and work to instill Christ-like qualities in others
Demonstrate knowledge of the Church’s teaching about Jesus Christ and His mission as well as the sacramental expression of that mission
Exhibit the responsibility to give of themselves with charity, service to others in and outside of the classroom

Think critically and problem solve in all academic endeavors to challenge their level of achievement at diocesan, state, and national levels
