Welcome to Shrine Athletics. Home of the Knights.

The mission of the Shrine High School Athletic Department is to provide a holistic experience for our athletes which fosters and encourages the areas of an industrious work ethic, team work, goal setting and a commitment toward individual responsibility and individual growth.

Goal of Athletic Program

To develop respectful young men and women who understand the importance of Catholic Values, Sportsmanship, Teamwork and Leadership.

-Offer students opportunities to participate in a variety of sports

-Athletes work on sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork

-Develop role models that are influenced by coaches and teachers

Multisport Athletes

At Shrine we encourage athletes to participate in multiple sports. Specialization is not encouraged as it can lead to physical and mental fatigue. It is important for the individual as well as the teams to get participation from multisport athletes.

The Dirty Dozen Award Is Presented To A Special Group Of Student Athletes Who Played A Shrine Sport, At Any Level, For 12 Straight Seasons. These Student-Athletes Have Dedicated Countless Hours On Weeknights, Weekends, And Even Through The Summer, All While Completing A Rigorous Curriculum At Shrine. Their Work-Ethic, And School Pride Has Been A Textbook Example Of What It Means To Be A Shrine Knight.
