Here’s what’s  happening this week at school:
**Donations of kleenex would be greatly appreciated.  Our classrooms are running short already.  Donations may be dropped off at the main office.**

  • Gamer’s ClubAre you a fan of video games, card games, and all things frightening? Join the Gamers Club and celebrate our Halloween themed event today from 12:30-6:00PM. Admission is 5 dollars at the door. Come enjoy Pizza, snacks, Halloween themed contests, and of course, all the video and card games you could want.

  • Shrine Performing Arts Hootenanny, 7pm, Saturday, Oct. 28th- Auditorium
  • ARE YOU INTERESTED IN THE SHRINE SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB? We ski at Pine Knob Ski & Snowboard Resort in Clarkston, MI. Ski Dates will be Tuesday’s(1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, and 2/27) after school.  The cost is very minimal – $20.00 to join the club and then $20.00 each time you go(Rental would be extra). You get two ski lessons and 1 snowboard lesson by joining the club.  Parents can join also and ski at same rate on ski club night. You are responsible for getting yourself to and from Pine Knob. Join with your friends and have a great time skiing during the week! Go to www.skipineknob.com and click on ski clubs to get more info. You must register with me before skiing. Celebrate the richness of our parish community and learn about Dia de los Muertos, also called “Day of the Dead”, a festival primarily celebrated in Mexico during All Saints and All Souls Days. This family event will be held on Sunday, October 29 in the grade school gym.  At 2:00 pm, start with a Mexican meal and then enjoy different activities such as decorating a sugar skull and crafts!  Join in the procession to the church for 4:00 pm Spanish Mass, which will be bilingual.
