Why I Like Teaching at Shrine

Teaching at Shrine is a blessing. We are all family who care about the students, their families and each other. To teach in a faith-based environment is a reward. I believe in creating and providing differentiated, engaging instruction so all students can succeed. I want to be an example for my students and give them the opportunities to establish a higher level of thinking, express themselves, and be creative. I want to encourage my students to explore, experiment and take risks. All students can succeed when high expectations are set. Most importantly, I want my students to explore their own passions and never give up or stop learning. My goal is to provide a safe and accepting environment where positive reinforcement is emphasized.  At Shrine Catholic Grade School we exemplify Christ by praying, learning and growing together.
